When you produce a book with Red Planet Audiobooks, until you’ve recouped your production fee, that’s what we’ll pass along to you. 100% of every dollar that we collect. Once you’ve recouped your fee, you’ll keep 80%. In other words, we don’t get paid until you do!

When looking at these numbers, keep in mind a few things:
- Roughly 10,000 words equals 1 hour of audio, which equals 1 CD.
- These prices are for physical CDs. There is no manufacturing cost for digital downloads, although retail prices for downloads will be lower.
- Distributors, wholesalers and storefronts will each retain a varying percentage
